Around The Office - July 2019

The Power of Independence

This month, our country turned 243 years old.  Over the years, the United States of America has seen its struggles as well as successes, but many of its core values have been founded on the simple idea of independence. Over the course of July, we will be celebrating this fact in our blogs, social media, and other communications. In this day in age, financial planning services can be accessed through a number of distribution channels. National banks and brokerage houses dot every main street from sea to shining sea, and their messages infiltrate just about every communications medium available.  A long time ago Moneco Advisors decided to choose a different path. We work independently, which allows our team to truly put every client’s best interests first and provide a partner to help navigate your financial future. So while we all will celebrate our country’s independence all month long, let us also not forget the power of working with an independent financial planner like Moneco Advisors!

Time is Running Out….Sign Up Today!

This year, our affiliate, Rocco & Associates, along with Moneco Advisors, will return as the presenting sponsor for the Second Annual Fairfield Police Sunset 5k. All the proceeds from the event will go to support two town agencies that are integral to our community: the Friends of the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities and the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund. The festivities will start at 6:00 p.m. and we will be offering a traditional 5k race, a one-mile fun walk, and a Kids & Cops scamper. This summer spectacular will include food trucks featuring Colony Grill, Taco Loco, Sierra Nevada Beer for anyone 21 and over, activities for kids, entertainment, and family fun. For more information on the race and to register, please check out fpdcops.com/5k. Hope to see you all there!
