Weekly Jobless Claims Drop
Unemployment claims have long been an indicator of the overall strength of the economy. As the economy continues to fully reopen, vaccine rollouts increase and people head back to work, jobless claims fell last week to a new pandemic low. Another strong indication of the economy working to get back to full employment.

How Tech is Helping Retirees
As technology continues to play a larger role in our daily lives, it is often easy to conclude that we may be better off without so much of it. No doubt, kids are spending more time socializing on their phones than actually physically interacting with friends and families. This debate has only intensified, especially after spending the better part of 2020 at home and out of school. However, one age group where technology is clearly helping, amongst retirees, specifically, giving them the ability to age at home with the assistance of tech.
