Second Quarter GDP Numbers Show Strength

The economy is still continuing to expand with second quarter GDP growth coming in at 6.6%, which was slightly above expectations. The increase was spurred by stronger consumer spending and U.S. exports. As a refresher, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), is the total value of goods produced and services provided in a country during one year and an indicator of potentially what may lie ahead.
