Job Openings Surge Above 10 Million
For the first time ever, the U.S. Labor Department is reporting that current job openings have surged past 10 million. In this somewhat post pandemic world, we have all had first hand experience with many businesses that we frequent and companies, not being able to secure a full staff lately. Many believe that enhanced unemployment benefits have spurred this, while people are reluctant to return to the workforce. Now that these are expiring in many states, the job market is ripe with opportunities it seems for those that want to enter back into full time employment.

Tired Of Waiting In Line At The DMV?
Admit it, we all like going to the DMV about as much as we like watching paint dry, but changes are coming in many states (including Connecticut) thanks to Apple. They recently announced that in select states, you will now have the ability to seamlessly and securely add your driver’s license and/or state ID to Wallet on the iPhone and Apple Watch. So if you are lucky enough, you can now say goodbye to the long lines and reams of paperwork that you have become accustomed to over the years.
