Giving Back to Fairfield's Finest

One of our core beliefs here at MONECO Advisors is getting involved in our local communities. This week we highlight some of the great work our team and our local partners are doing to make contributions to the towns that we have been fortunate enough to live and work in.

One of the many causes we support is the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund. The Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 and benefits the children of Fairfield Police Officers.  Each year, scholarships are awarded to the children of current Fairfield Police Officers. The Fund began with an initial contribution of $10,000 and has grown substantially through a combination of fundraisers and donations. In addition, all Fairfield Police Officers contribute to the fund from their weekly pay.

MONECO is the co-founder and lead sponsor of the Fairfield Police Department Annual Sunset 5K race, where people from all around the community participate in the race, walk and food truck rodeo. Over the years, the event has become a family favorite with truly something for everyone.  All proceeds go to benefit the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund and the Fairfield Police Foundation Last year the event raised over $40,000! This year the race will be on July 19th, so be sure to mark your calendars to come out and support a great cause. If you or a family member would like to get involved, give the office a call!
