Team MONECO - Giving Back

Giving back to the communities that we are so fortunate to work and live in is one of the constants that spans across the entire team at MONECO. Many advisors and staff members are advocating members of different clubs, organizations, and volunteer groups within their communities. This week we highlight, partner and financial planner, Reed Amaden, who is an active member and volunteer with the Weston Kiwanis International Organization. On Saturday, Jan 20th, Reed and his fellow members collected over 40 bags of shelf-stable foods and toiletries, as well as more than $600 in donations to help ensure no Westonite goes hungry or isn’t cared for. Way to go Reed! To learn more about the other community organizations that your team at MONECO is involved with, check out our community page on our website (Reed pictured below far right).

FED Keeps Rates Steady

The Federal Reserve held its first meeting of 2024 last week and for the fourth time as in recent meetings, noted that they will keep interest rates where they are for now. As they continue to orchestrate a potential "soft landing" coming out of the most recent rate hike cycle, they indicated that although rate cuts may eventually come, maybe not as soon as the markets expect. If you have questions on how this may impact your financial plan or investment strategy, do not hesitate to reach out.
