Budgeting, saving, investing and paying bills on time are all skills that can assist with having a solid foundation of financial literacy. Unfortunately, many don't acquire the knowledge until later in life. Because general financial planning curriculum is not traditionally taught in schools, it is imperative for our younger generations to get acclimated early on with the concepts and this needs to begin at home.
