Team MONECO - Always Be Learning

If you stopped by the office last Wednesday you may of thought that everyone was on vacation, but indeed this was not the case. Instead, a host of advisors and our relationship management team headed up to Southington to attend the 39th Annual FPA of Connecticut State Conference. The FPA is the Financial Planning Association which has over 28,000 members nationwide and is the principal professional organization for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professionals, educators, financial services providers and students who seek advancement in a growing, dynamic profession. Your MONECO team boasts 14 advisors that have successfully gained this sought after designation, which includes our own Salim Boutagy, who is the current President of the Connecticut Chapter of the FPA (pictured below addressing the crowd). Charlie Rocco also sits on the board of directors.

The conference  focused on the future of Financial Planning and the resources that advisors need to help our clients pursue their financial goals. Topics included estate planning; how state and federal policies are affecting clients, advanced tax strategies and retirement planning mistakes to avoid. The common theme throughout the day was to be able to walk away with new & innovative ways to help you, our clients, meet the complex challenges facing financial planning today.  The MONECO team can't wait until the next learning conference happens!
