5th Annual Sunset 5k - A Huge Success!
At MONECO, we do our best to constantly be striving to give back to the communities we are so fortunate to work in. This week, we highlight our 5th Annual Fairfield Police Department Sunset 5k that we held last week. MONECO once again returned as the presenting sponsor.
This charity run & walk raises funds and awareness to benefit the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund & the Fairfield Police Foundation. This year we again exceeded both previous race attendees, as well as money raised, which exceeded $40,000 for the aforementioned benefactors. We had over 1,200 runners, walkers and family members of both come down to scenic Penfield Beach to participate in this great event! After the race, we hosted a food truck rodeo, beverages, ice cream and much, much more. Thank you to the greater Fairfield community and the surrounding towns for supporting this event that is near and dear to all of our hearts. We can't wait to do it again next year and hope some of you can join us!
