Chuck Kniffin, CLU, ChFC
Chuck joined the MONECO Advisors team in 2019. He also launched Chuck Kniffin & Associates as a branch of LPL Financial in 2004. Chuck immediately entered into the financial services industry out of college, initially working with Phoenix Mutual. Chuck works with both individuals and businesses assisting with all areas of financial and life planning including retirement income planning, college funding and employer sponsored retirement plans. Chuck does not take his advisement lightly, and prides himself in working with all of his clients individually, while striving to immerse himself in all areas of their financial lives to formulate realistic goals and long term financial plans to assist in reaching them.
Chuck holds his Series 6 and 63 license through LPL and Moneco Advisors and his Connecticut Life and Health Insurance Licenses. He also holds health and insurance licenses in other states to serve the needs of his clients and additionally holds a Property and Casualty License. A Chartered Life Underwriter and a Charter Financial Consultant, he practices with ethics and integrity to offer creative solutions to meet the ever complex needs of his clients.
An accomplished skier and outdoorsman, Chuck was rendered quadriplegic many years ago after a skiing accident. Persevering through life’s challenges, he maintained and grew his business, giving a firsthand perspective of the complex healthcare industry and the importance of financial planning. Chuck is a certified health insurance broker with Access Health CT and specializes in Medicare planning for individuals as well as group employee benefits for small and large businesses.
Originally from Newburgh, NY, Chuck attended The University of Bridgeport and graduated with a BA in Business Management. As a collegiate scholarship athlete, he excelled in both soccer and baseball, where he first learned the importance of leading by example, a trait he still carries to work with him today. Married to his college sweetheart Lori, they reside in Shelton, CT, where he has been an active member in The Exchange Club of Shelton, an organization that raises awareness and funds for child abuse prevention. In this capacity he has held numerous leadership positions over the years, including past President and Treasurer.
