David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Chartered Life Underwriter and has earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional Designation . He attended Boston College for his undergraduate degree and attended the American College for his Master of Science degree in Financial Services. He also holds the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63) with LPL Financial. The Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65) he holds with MONECO Advisors. With his numerous degrees and distinctions, he brings unmatched technical and market knowledge to the table – serving as the Chief Investment Officer at MONECO.
Prior to MONECO, David has had a distinguished career in the financial services industry: he joined Paine Webber in 1978 and then launched his own Fairfield-based financial services firm in 1987. He joined MONECO in 2006.
Recently David was recognized for his efforts in the Financial Planning Association’s Pro Bono program offering support and advice to families affected by the 9/11 tragedy.
David lives in Fairfield, Connecticut with his wife Betsy and three children, David, Taylor, and Michael.

Way to spend time outside of work: I enjoy saltwater fly fishing, as well as reading history.
