Scott Langlais has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®). He joins MONECO Advisors from Fidelity Investments where he worked as a Vice President, Financial Consultant within the Greenwich, CT branch.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a RICP®, Scott feels that the best financial decisions are made within the context of a financial plan. Scott collaborates with his clients to empower them to make confident financial decisions while avoiding costly mistakes.
Scott feels that clients should expect both empathy and candor from him as their advisor. He works to understand his clients’ personal circumstances and preferences, while maintaining a commitment to provide candid, straightforward advice.
In addition to his CFP® designation and RICP®, Scott holds his Series 7, 24 through LPL Financial and 66 licenses with LPL and MONECO Advisors, LLC. He also holds his Connecticut Life and Health Insurance license.
Scott and his wife Jennifer met while they were both undergraduates at Fairfield University. They have lived in Fairfield since 1990. Scott and Jennifer recently “downsized” and are enjoying their new home in downtown Fairfield. Their children, Dan and Megan, are grown and living on their own. Dan lives in San Francisco, CA and Megan lives in New York City.
