Stephen joined the MONECO team working out of the New Jersey office in the summer of 2022. Growing up, Stephen always had a passion for finance. At a young age, he recalled traveling to meet new tenants with his father, who was active in property rentals/management. The income generated by owning real estate intrigued him. He knew at this point in his life that he would want to pursue real state later down the road and understood the role finance would play in this decision. This lead him to San Diego State University. Once he started taking classes at school, he realized how real estate was just a minor portion of finance. In light of this, he decided to change his major to finance. After doing some exploring and interning at an independent financial advisory practice, he realized that helping people was his true passion (along with fishing). Stephen graduated with a BA degree in finance from the Fowler College of Business at SDSU. In the future, he plans to pursue the Certified Financial Planner designation and eventually become a financial planner himself.

Favorite part about working at Moneco: The incomparable culture at the firm and the generational expertise. It's wonderful to work with colleagues that genuinely care about each and every client and build real relationships.
Favorite thing to do outside of work: Fly fishing or anything on the water
What I enjoy most about what I do: Being able to assist clients in pursuing their financial goals and cultivativating long-lasting relationships
Biggest challenge: Absorbing every piece of information that I can from my colleagues. There is always something to learn.
